Registered in Germany and bound by the GDPR and German law. We’re owned in Europe, with no US parent company and no US region.

How we price and run things

These apply to every product we sell.

Predictable prices

Hosting is billed by the size you set. Transfer isn’t metered and requests aren’t counted, so on a fixed size a busy month costs the same as a quiet one.

Easy to leave

We use open protocols and standard build output, so you can move your sites and mail elsewhere without converting anything. A Data Processing Agreement is available on request.

Published prices

Hosting has no egress fees, no usage tiers, and no minimum spend. You pay the price shown on this site, prorated to the day.

Support from the people who run it

The people who run the machines answer your email from Lübeck, within one business day. There’s no account manager in between.

We’re bound by the GDPR like any EU controller or processor. A DPA is available on request.

We can tell you which of our sites your workload runs in.

Certifications

We don’t hold ISO 27001, SOC 2, BSI C5, or PCI DSS certification. If your procurement process requires one of them, we can’t be your supplier yet. If you want to know which controls we do run, ask us and we’ll answer in detail.

Shared responsibility

We secure the physical infrastructure and the managed services that run on it. You’re responsible for your own applications, access policies, and data.

Who we are

Astrava UG is a small team in Lübeck, where we grew up and where the company is registered. We’re not a large provider. Everything we sell runs on machines we bought, and the people who run them also answer your email.

We hire now and then, mostly infrastructure and network engineers. If that’s you, write to us.
